Our standard opening hours are 09:30 – 17:30. Ticket verification and entry stop one hour before closing. The aquarium is closed every Tuesday. Any unscheduled closures due to severe weather or other factors will be announced separately on our official website.

No, you are not limited to one hour. The time slot selected during booking is your designated entry time window. Once inside, you are welcome to explore and stay until closing time.
Early entry, late entry, and ticket refunds are not permitted on the day of your visit. Please double-check your schedule before purchasing tickets.

Yes! Our Souvenir Zone is located right before the main exit. We highly recommend browsing and shopping after you finish your tour.

Inside the main building, barrier-free and family-friendly restroom facilities are fully integrated across multiple levels to ensure a comfortable visit for parents and guests with disabilities. From the 1st to the 4th floors, all accessible restrooms are thoughtfully equipped with wall-mounted child seats, with toddler toilet seat reducers readily available on the 1F, 3F, and 4F. Additionally, the women’s restroom on the 4th floor features a specially designated family restroom complete with its own wall-mounted child seat for enhanced privacy and convenience.
Outdoor Area (The Station / 驛站): Both men’s and women’s restrooms are equipped with family restrooms and wall-mounted child seats.
Yes, wheelchair and stroller rentals are available for free.
Please request rentals at the 1F Information Desk. A valid photo ID is required for registration and will be returned upon item drop-off. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited quantities.
For any lost and found services, please visit the 1F Information Desk (綜合服務台).
If you happen to find a misplaced item within the aquarium, please hand it over to our onsite staff at the desk so we can return it to its owner. Conversely, if you have lost a personal belonging during your visit, you are welcome to inquire directly at the desk or register a lost item report with our team for further assistance.

The Taichung Aquarium applies a visitor-friendly exemption rule where children qualify for free admission
if they meet either one of the conditions: being under 6 years old OR under 115 cm in height. Therefore, any child who is already 6 but remains under 115 cm, as well as any child under 6 who has grown past 115 cm, is fully eligible for free entry.
Individual guests eligible for free admission do not need to book online; simply head to our 1F Information Desk on the day of your visit with your family and a valid photo ID to register and redeem a complimentary daily ticket.

Graduating high school seniors who cannot present a valid student ID must purchase a standard adult ticket, unless they hold a valid examination hall ticket (such as GSAT or AST) for the current academic year, which qualifies them for a student discount. If the hall ticket is misplaced, students may log into the College Admissions Committee website (https://www.cac.edu.tw/) at the gate to present their official placement results along with their National Health Insurance (NHI) card for verification.
Our reservation system does not feature an order modification tool. Any changes to your guest count, ticket types, or session times will require a complete online cancellation of your original order followed by a new reservation.
Processing and reviewing an online refund application typically takes 1 to 2 business days.

- On the Day of Visit: No changes, date modifications, or refunds are permitted on the actual day of your scheduled visit.
Tickets that have already been scanned and validated cannot be refunded either in part or in full. In the event of an unscheduled aquarium closure due to typhoons or other force majeure, a full automated refund will be processed back to your original payment channel.

The parking fee is $50 NTD per entry for cars and $20 NTD per entry for motorcycles. Automated payment kiosks are located right inside the 1st-floor exit, and we kindly ask all guests to settle their fees prior to exiting the lot. For added convenience, you can also scan the QR codes onsite to complete your transaction via various mobile payment options. Please note that parking spaces for large tour buses are strictly reserved for registered group bookings on a priority basis.
