The restaurant has an open-plan seating area located right next to the Wetland Ecology Exhibition Area.

Guests can enjoy delicious cuisine while watching wetland creatures swim leisurely and embracing the healing atmosphere of nature. The seating faces wide, floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the outdoor Taichung Port and a beautiful sea-sky panorama. The indoor wetland experience area allows children to freely explore the fun of playing in the water as the tides rise and fall, while adults can dine and relax worry-free.

The menu offers a rich and diverse selection of seafood set meals. It is ideal for family gatherings or small get-togethers, providing a fulfilling experience close to nature.

5F - Panoramic View Café

Situated on the top floor of the Taichung Aquarium, this picturesque café boasts floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, bathing the space in an abundance of natural light.

Here, you can relax in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere while enjoying a variety of coffees, beverages and light snacks, all while taking in the expansive ocean views of Taichung Harbour and basking in the sunlight streaming through the windows.

Step out onto the Outdoor Observation Deck to enjoy the sweeping vistas: the windmills turning in the breeze at Gaomei Wetland in the distance, the sails of ships in Taichung Harbour and the deep blue landscape where sky and sea converge.

With a bit of luck, you might even catch a rare glimpse of whales and dolphins leaping gracefully from the open sea. This is the perfect place to enjoy the coastal scenery and is also a popular destination for travellers and social media influencers to take photos and check in.

In the Kuroshio Ocean, you can transform into a fish and glide through the water.

Gather with friends and family for a meal and enjoy a tranquil moment as you drift among the shimmering waves. The beverage bar situated right next to the Kuroshio Ocean exhibit tank is the only one of its kind in Taiwan.

Here, you can leisurely admire the vibrant marine ecosystem, with its sharks, stingrays and various schools of fish swimming freely, while sipping your drink and immersing yourself in a magical experience that feels as though you’re deep in the ocean.

Gift Shop

After enjoying the soothing jellyfish, the cute penguin chicks and the schools of fish gliding through the Kuroshio Current, follow the first-floor exit route to reach the gift shop. Continuing the marine theme, the shop stocks a special selection of marine-themed plush toys, stationery and gifts, as well as exclusive, limited-edition items — perfect for creating lasting memories of your visit to the Taichung Aquarium.
